Yohualli Anaya, MD, is a family medicine doctor at UW Health and an associate professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Dr. Anaya cares for patients of all ages and treats a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. She is also fluent in Spanish and proudly serves the Latinx community.
Dr. Anaya provides full-spectrum care for the whole family, from birth through old age. She offers preventive care and education and provides guidance to help diagnose common symptoms, treat and prevent illness and manage chronic conditions such as diabetes.
Dr. Anaya also performs outpatient procedures to treat conditions such as knee and shoulder pain.
Dr. Anaya offers personalized care to help people get and stay healthy throughout life. She works alongside each patient and family to develop treatment plans tailored to their unique needs, circumstances and preferences. She works to ensure that all her patients can understand and access the care they need.
Dr. Anaya teaches medical students conducts research on physician workforce diversity, Latinx health and health care equity.
In her free time, Dr. Anaya enjoys spending time with her family.
