Megan Peterson, NP, is a nurse practitioner at UW Health. Megan cares for women who have completed treatment for ovarian, cervical or uterine cancer. She provides tools for disease management and support for post-treatment health and lifestyle changes.
Megan also addresses urgent care needs that may arise during and after cancer care. She evaluates symptoms and assists with chemotherapy side effects, post-operative complications or other treatment-related concerns.
As a provider in the Women's Integrative Sexual Health (WISH) Clinic, Megan evaluates and treats sexual health concerns affecting woman who have completed or are currently undergoing cancer therapy.
Working from a place of mutual respect, Megan collaborates with her patients to bring about the best health care outcomes.
In her free time, Megan enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. Their shared goal is to travel around the U.S. and experience all 50 states.
