Melissa Ball, DPT, has a doctorate in physical therapy, and is a UW Health physical therapist and licensed athletic trainer. She specializes in sports physical therapy treating sports-related injuries and conditions.
Melissa treats swimmers and other athletes who primarily use their lower bodies. She works to help patients recover from knee surgeries such as anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstructions and medial patellofemoral ligament (MPFL) reconstructions.
Melissa performs in-water swim stroke analyses for injured swimmers and is an instructor for the Spectrum program, a group-based lower extremity rehab class focused on returning sidelined athletes to their sports.
