About

Margo Hoover-Regan, MD, is a UW Health Kids pediatric hematologist and oncologist. She has a special interest in treating sarcomas (bone or muscle tumors). Dr. Hoover-Regan also is a professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Hematology, Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.

Dr. Hoover-Regan treats children with cancer and blood disorders, as well as providing palliative care. She cares for her pediatric patients during their course of chemotherapy until treatment is complete and provides extra support and symptom management to hospitalized children who have life-threatening illnesses. She listens carefully to her patients and their families and strives to develop individualized treatments while considering everyone’s best interests.

Serving others is a very important part of Dr. Hoover-Regan’s care philosophy. She enjoys developing close relationships with her patients and their families while they are in her care. She strives to fully understand how her patients are impacted by their medical condition. By providing care for the whole person, she can treat physical needs while supporting emotional and spiritual needs.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Hoover-Regan enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and being outdoors with her Labrador Retriever.

My goal is to ensure my patients are living as well as possible, for as long as possible.
