Rebecca Richards, MD

Rebecca Richards, MD, PhD, is a UW Health Kids hematologist and oncologist. She is also an assistant professor at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, Department of Pediatrics, Division of Hematology, Oncology & Bone Marrow Transplant.

Dr. Richards sees children with blood cancers (leukemia) and solid tumors. She also treats children who require bone marrow transplants.

Dr. Richards believes every child diagnosed with cancer deserves to be cured of their disease. She works with her team to ensure that patients receive state-of-the-art care and partners with patients’ families to help them understand the complexities of a pediatric cancer diagnosis.

Dr. Richards' clinical research focuses on caring for patients with high-risk leukemias and those who are receiving immunotherapy, including CAR-T cells.
