Frederick Kelcz, MD, PhD, FACR

Dr. Frederick Kelez is an associate professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, Section of Abdominal Imaging and Intervention and a member of the UW Health Breast Center team. He initiated the breast MRI clinical and research program at the University of Wisconsin, as well as the Prostate MRI clinical program.

He completed his BS at The Cooper Union, New York, NY, a PhD in physics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and then earned his medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, Miami, Fl. Dr. Kelez also completed a fellowship at University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics.

Dr. Kelez specializes in abdominal and breast imaging and his research focuses on MRI applications.
